In your WordPress dashboard, you may often get an error or a reminder to update your PHP version, which will eventually ensure proper safety for your blog. If you are new to WordPress, you may find it difficult to find the exact way how to update your PHP version but there is nothing to worry about as these days this comes as an inbuilt feature in the cPanel of each hosting provider.
Here are simple 3 steps which you need to follow to change your PHP version. But before you follow the below steps make sure you are logged in to your cPanel.
1. Click the Select PHP Version under the software section
2. Choose your PHP version from the dropdown
Login back to your WordPress dashboard and your PHP version should now be changed!
