Airtel Deals With Nokia For Launching VoLTE Handsets | A $60 Million Deal

NOKIA is a Finnish multinational communications and information technology company. Recently it got into hands of Microsoft but failed to raise itself to that level.

However, the Finnish company is expected to make a great comeback soon along with one of the largest telecom network Bharti Airtel which recently announced the collaboration for a $60 million contract to launch VoLTE in the upcoming smartphones.
Based on a deal in 2015, when Nokia announced the 4-year deal with Airtel India for rolling out 3G network.

Bharti Airtel, a leading global telecommunications company with operations in 20 countries across Asia and Africa, has selected Nokia Networks to roll out its 3G network in 5 new telecom circles and network expansion in 3 existing telecom circles*. Under the 4-year contract, the company will provide its radio elements and services expertise to power Bharti Airtel’s infrastructure.
