Press Windows+R key combination and type 'resmon'.

How to Stop an application from using CPU, Memory, Disk or Network(Internet)

  1. Goto either of the tabs(Overview, CPU, Memory, Disk, Network).
  2. Right click on the application which you want to stop using that particular service and select 'End Process' or 'End Process Tree' option. The application will stop using that resource.

But beware of the consequences because it may damage your application or if you ended a windows process then computer may not work at that certain period of time, it may need system restart.

So, before ending any process just right click on that application and click on 'Search Online' it will give you relavent details of that particular application.
